I have an in ground 22,000 gal pool. Would the Raypak 266000 service this size pool adequately?
i'm looking to replace my old oil heater
I would like know if you have installers for pool heaters in the Burnsville, Mn area
the heater has to have the intake on the left side.
Looking at Hayward and Aquacomfort for 38K gal 20-42 ' ft pool Never heard of Raypak. The others are in the 4$ and 5K range. Hz ,BTUs , reliability, service are the concern. Can I install this myself or will my independent service rep conduct service if he doesn't sell it to me??
Dont waste your money on Hayward. Bought H series 400BTU. All circuit boards had to be replaced right out of the box ......twice!!! The heater just died this week 14 months in service of which it only ran maybe a total of 30 days. Worthless! Thats why Hayward offers only a 1 yr warranty. They know they have a crappy product!
My current electric AComfort lasted 12 yrs and I want to stay electric I live in MA
I have Raypak 336 with a copper heat exchanger I have had it for 3 years in northeast Pa so are swim season is June to September this year the heat exchanger started to leak, now figure it out 3 seasons at 4 months per season
I was not finished 3 seasons at 4 months per season that’s 12 months use total for $2000 never again ! You can buy a replacement part copper for like $600 or nic for$1000
Keep in mind that most people actually run their pool heaters maybe 4 months out of the pool season and that's a stretch it's probably less because no one runs their pool heaters in July and August for the most part. So if the normal life of a Raypak is 17 years X 4 months a year is 68 months. 68 months is really 5 and a half years in reality so stop the nonsense and TELL THE TRUTH ...!!!
The only heaters that consistently out last the pool liner is Raypak if you keep the pool balanced 15 years is the life of a liner with proper care .
